  • Hours: Friday - 10am to 5pm

  • Saturday - 9am to 5pm

  • Sunday - 9am to 3pm

    Please note: The festival is dog-friendly, welcoming well-trained, leashed dogs in all outdoor areas. Service animals are permitted throughout the festival grounds, including indoor spaces, with proof of service animal registration.

Since 1984, a dedicated group of volunteers has ensured the Bala Cranberry Festival is an event that can't be missed. 

Our Mission: The Purpose of the Bala Cranberry Festival is to EXTEND the tourist season, and to IMPROVE the quality of life in our community, by providing financial assistance to organizations and individuals in need.

  • Estimated attendance of over half million people over the last 35 years (not bad for a small town of 700!)

  • Hundreds of local community groups and non-profit associations supported

  • Over $150,000 in scholarships disbursed

  • Over 150 local musicians have graced our main stage

  • Over 5000 volunteer hours per decade

  • Awarded as a Festivals and Events Ontario Top 100 Event
